3 Days to go...

On this Saturday morning, GlobalFitnessLLC.com will be sponsoring a team of riders for the MS 150 Bike Race, a 150 mile bike race to benefit the research and treatment directed at Multiple Sclerosis. It's very exciting to think of 8,000 riders motivated to help cure a disease that slowly paralyzes your body, decreasing your independence each year of your life. Not many people really know what MS does, but it stops nerve signaling from your spinal cord to your muscles....but the worst part, while people lose their abilities to move, they may still have violent cramping and shooting pain throughout the day. It's really horrible...

So, everyone, I want you to say a small prayer on Saturday morning, hoping for a cure for this horrid disease. Thanks!


Now, on to a more happy topic! To your left you will see Life Fitness's new Hammer Strength Vest, designed to allow your arms and legs to be free while you fight 3-dimensional resistance. It hooks up really nicely to the Dual Adjustable Pulley (also on the left). Imagine this:

- you now have a way to add resistance to your lunges
- Pull-ups: instead of a weight vest, you can now add whatever weight increment you want
- Resisted squats, but you can still do bicep curls and overhead presses at the same time

And that's just the beginning.... This is a small, but powerful feature of Global Fitness LLC - Physical Therapy and Personal Training. At our new facility, we're going to have state-of-the-art equipment, treadmills that have hook-ups for ipods so that you can watch movies on the high-definition LCD screens, and the Rolls Royce of treatment tables, so that every patient is comfortable. It's gonna be great!
